Heck of a goal by Wahlstrom. Wonder if it could have beaten a goalie of slightly larger stature? Not that we'd want to see Wahlstrom try that trick-shot on Bruins netminder Tim Thomas(notes), who'd probably skate out the crease and bulldog the lad if the puck flew by him.

Totally played out. Too many people practice this to the point it isn't that difficult to do anymore. Using the butt end of the stick, now that is a trick.

hahaha, just like when Vince Carter's between the leg dunk. It was omgwtfbbq back when he first did it. Now it's like meh, still impressive if u can do it, but meh

It was sick when Mike Legg first did it in 1994. But he never made it to the NHL.

Rob Schemp did this a lot in the minors, and is barely playing in NYI.

If you do a search on youtube, there are lots of people including kids who can do this and other similar tricks, including between the legs which imo is harder than what this kid did.

Search up the video clip that TSN had of Matt Duchene picking up the pick with the butt end of his stick.

It was sick when Mike Legg first did it in 1994. But he never made it to the NHL.

Well he did do that breakaway scoop move in one of his commercial... but I guess it was never done (or at least filmed) during his ameteur years.
