the potential value that he will get for it is 1/3 what he could potentially get with a $500 home paint job, so stupid selling it in that state

The gas tank tube that sticks out like half a foot from the rear fender is my particular favourite... :lol

Man, forget putting on a new home-sprayed paint job. The one thing you should always do before taking pictures of a car you're selling is to clean the freakin' inside of it! At least take out all the crap and vacuum the shit out of the seats. The lack of a paint job I think most people could deal with, considering the bodywork that went into it... but at least make the rest of the car look presentable.
