cheapest single layer i've seen is $4/disc..DL maybe $10-15?
keeping buying your HDD for now...they're still more cost effective
or if you dont want to rewatch any of them just delete
or find BDrips that are 3-4GB in size..not 15GB

i fail to understand why ppl wanna buy BD-R to burn their downloaded movies instead of buying it.... $15 bux for a DL BDR blank plus all the time wasted to download the iso....
are they THAT cheap?

I fail to understand why people would spend time on download, burn, and watch BR movies.
watching a movie is fucking waste of time.

holy fuck, I was just thinking of getting a drobo or something similar, cuz i've been downloading a shit load of 1080p movies, i need more space than just 1TB :(
it's not bad downloading the 1080p MKV's, especially if you're going at 3.5mpbs

i can see why ppl buy the burner for data or their own HD recording with HD
camera....and watching bluray using a PC....
but downloading movies and burning it is just retarded.... it cost more time and effort then buying the real thing which includes covers and box LOL

I just found the cheapest Blu-Ray DL 50GB from Japan.
Cost 5~6 CAD per disc,
Brands are Panasonic, TDK, Sony, Maxwell....etc.
I can bring them in with my other import business. Saved shipping charge..LOL
But storing into 1TB HDD still the best way to save money, (Approx $2~3 dollars per blu-ray ISO)
I have a system just for DL/UL-ing 24/7 at home. It doesn't waste my time.
It's just sitting there keep doing what it suppose to do....lol
I am not sitting there and waiting......of course.
2 days off every week, 1 of the day, I'll watch 1~2 movies.
Sometimes, I'll just go to the theatre for new releases too.
I only watch blu ray nowadays, cuz DVD is so friggin bad showing on my 55inch LED....
Plus, I need HD-Audio, which only available on blu-ray.
Otherwise, it's such a waste for all of my HT equipments.
I love to watch movies and i keep them.
It's one of my hobby.... :D:D:D:D:D:D

so let me get this right, you drop all this money into a dedicated computer, bigass LED TV and audio equipment, but you won't pay the people who produce the movies that give all your stuff a purpose? come on dude.

Grab a NAS. I got a 2 bay and popped in 2x1.5TB, but you can just get a 5 bay and do the same, or use 2TB drives.
