I'm not sure if it's the same, but it is a show/swap as well.

I'm being lazy and practically given up on being a gear whore.
I'll let all y'all do the gear collecting instead.

I'll be asking around to my friends and seeing what's for sale on their end. And with that I'll also be picking through my stuff to figure out what to sell as well. I'll keep things posted

Not quite fully open, but a lot of the mountain should be by now.
there isn't THAT much snow coverage for the steeper bits

Went to Cypress on Sunday, it wasnt too bad, mostly because of the fog, but the riding was nice and smooth. Quite a bit of the terrain is open though. Probably head back up this week.

didn't want to start a new topic. i really want a face mask that will protect my face from freezing. but needs to be breathable so my goggles don't fog up.

I find facemasks arent really necessary for our local mountains. Places like Whistler is where they can come in handy.

I think it's funny when people wear balaclava's. it's like they are trying to keep up with fashion, or trying to hide their identity.
The only person I know of that pulls that look off is Shaun White, but then again, they do call him the shred ninja.
BTW, whistler/blackcomb Sunday December 5th. PEAK TO CREEK BABY

I advise all that are excited about this nice sunshiney weather to hold off on going up to any mountain.
It's rediculously icey up there and not worth the money spent on the drive, the gear and the food you're planning on buying up on the hill.
Unless all you want to do is learn to do a 270 frontside board in the park, it's seriously NOT worth it.

I don't know if this is the right place to post but I am organizing a trip to BigWhite for this weekend Jan 22-24. I've booked a 56 person bus as well as on-hill accomidations at the Bullet Creek Cabins (http://www.bigwhite.com/accommodations_showBuilding_ID_70.html).
I have one more house that I need to fill up (7-9 people) and I wanted to see if any of you fellow RS'ers might be interested in getting a group of friends to fill up that last condo.
It's $350/person that includes Transportation, Accomodations and 2-Day Lift Pass (w/Night Skiing). Or it'll be $300/person for everything with a 1-day Pass. PM me if you're interested. We depart Friday at 4pm and return Sunday at 11pm.
