ms pro duo very expensive? well, it's more than SD, but 8GB at $49 is not too bad at all. 4GB is around $25 or so.
if your psp is not mod, then no point to go any bigger. ;)

ya, I've seen the adapter for about 70 Hong Kong dollars = 9.29591366 Canadian dollars
cheaper than getting a ms pro duo and reduce the need for different memory storage

it's probably slower, but i doubt it'll be a big difference on the psp?

I noticed the transfer rate on those microSD card adapters to be quite slow, I use a 8gb mspro duo "high speed"

yes, compare to pro duo high speed or mark 2. but compare to M2 8gb (in my case) with adapter, it's a bit faster.

just got a sony mark2 8gb yesterday, the speed is very slow...... I was disappointed, but it was the cheapest i can find in the store (best buy).
Now onto the batteries, Where can i buy them without paying too much and without getting fakes.
I saw ebay selling 1800mah, 2200mah, and all the way up to a 3600mah ( sounded too good to be true)...
Went to Sony store, found a 2200mah (they called it "extended life battery pack", it comes with a black and silver fatty bulging new battery door for psp slims).... The problem with that is my psp is white. and sony wants like 70dollars?

8gb is pretty small actually. I just transferred 6 ISO's and they are pretty much full.
ISO these days are at least 1 GB for newer games.. I dunno why

You can compress ISOs into CSOs to save space on your mem stick

UMD can hold up to 1.8 gig

4gb... I really didn't see the need to go bigger as I tend to play one game and stick with it for a while
