As cool as that looks, I still call bs. Anybody that has done a swap from start to finish will know that it is more involved than what's shown in the video.

Are there no coolant lines or axles to hook up? I just don't understand how they can do it that quickly?!

Chances are:

-cooling system not hooked up
-electrical via 1 harness
-mounts not bolted in
-maybe a couple of bolts or some type of custom clip holding one driveshaft on?

Probably a bunch of shit done just to meet the criteria of the challenge. No way in hell that thing's actually driveable.

Has anyone seen the video of the Le Mans R8 getting a new transmission during the race? After the clutch failed they replaced the whole back of the car, I can’t find the video and would love to see it again.

how the hell can they do that? the axles are the main thing that confuses me. and the fuel line. everything must have been modified to just clip in and out

I'm just curious to see how the disconnected the engine from the transmission.

Sorry, I mean attached the transmission right back to the wheels?? What kind of connection could be used that could connect/disconnect that quickly?
