I'm looking to do some DIY projects on my car but I don't have all the tool. I'm particularly looking for some impact wrentches and I dun feel like buying new when I'm gonna use it just once. Are there places out there that rent these tools?

Thanks

Home Depot does tool rentals but I don't know about impact wrenches. It's best you go check it out yourself.

canadian tire rents tools for free... you pay for the tool you take out, then when u bring it back, they refund your money...

Where/when did you last do that? I thought it is up to the franchiser.. and most places in Vancouver don't do it anymore.. They had never lent out tools like impact wrench; spring compressor, or clutch alignment tool they used to.. but definitely not airtools.

the canadian tire in coquitlam on lougheed... i've rented spring compressors, impacts, stuff like that from them before... they've got a catalogue of tools they rent... last time i did that was about 6 months ago, you go to the automotive counter

they don't rent air tools. Only specialty tools that you really don't use it enough to own one....like spring compressors and pullers and shit.

Princess Auto... buy the tools, use them, break them, then return for a full refund.

Everyone else does it... why not you too?

What kind of projects? Like 1 or 2 days?

yea, like a wkend project. In reality, time that the impact wrench will be used is most likely be less than 10 mins, that's why i really dun feel like buying one for $100 bucks
