EA MMA looks pretty good judging from the screenshot they released on their Facebook page. The game will be out sometime next year and will feature Randy Couture, Fedor Emelianenko, Frank Shamrock and several other notable mixed marital artists.
EA has promised that some footage from the game will be shown on CBS’s Strikeforce show on November 7th.

This game looks pretty good! Hopefully it's as good as UFC Undisputed.

hmmm it's MMA and not UFC? Didn't know that, I had thought that Dana White ditched THQ and went to EA to create UFC 2010.

UFC pitched to EA, got turned down. Went to THQ, made a great game that outsold Fight Night 4, then... Not sure.
All I know is, EA MMA is still not a UFC game, although that will likely change in the future. I doubt this will sell very well without more big UFC names.
Fedor's ratings will allow for a better prediction. We already know he can't draw on PPV, but network TV might be different. I highly doubt it though!

UFC went to EA to make the game, they told UFC to fuck off. UFC went to THQ made millions laughed at EA. Now EA is making an MMA game to make some profit.

EA MMA > THQ UFC: Undisputed
this game should play out great, fucking THQ has too many button mashers

It probably won't sell as well as Undisputed did, but I more in it for the gameplay. Although the controls for Undisputed were pretty good, EA usually has awesome controls for their sports games, so I'm hoping this will turn out better.
I think this game may be able to introduce the lesser known fighters to the average MMA fan. And its these fighters who I think are a lot better than some UFC fighters (Mousasi, Fedor).

undisputed was damn good, yes single player sucked with the save game 4x in a row and sparring was annoying. But the moves and characters were done excellent. Button mashers were easy to get through if you knew what you were doing. Unless you were up against a turbo controller or a cheater with full stats.

UFC undisputed was pretty good especially for the first time coming out...now they know what they need to do to make it better for next year... i hope anyway...

I don't know their full roster, but I am having trouble thinking of names other than Randy Couture and Frank Shamrock that are high profile to the mainstream.
Anyone who isn't a hardcore MMA fan isn't going to know who the fuck Fedor is and who Josh Barnett is.

Ya even if it is an overall better game the lack of roster is going to kill it. Dont forget about
Gegard Mousasi & 'Babalu' Sobral

button mashers would love that. They would only need to concentrate on 2 buttons. Left kick or right kick.

Doesn't even matter if the gameplay is better which wouldn't be that hard because it all comes down to known names. Having Couture and Fedor is all fine and dandy but unless you have most the fighters it isn't going to fly.
It would be like making the best Hockey or Football game but wern't allowed to use NHL or NFL players, hardly anyone would buy it.

Game play looks awesome! Now only if it had the UFC roster that would be sick.
OH and anybody notice Nick Diaz's head looks big, should be right.

They have a pretty solid roster. I think i might have to buy both. They both look great and each one will have something better than the other.
