That site says the alarm is only for an automatic car.. true? I'd like to have the auto-start feature.

If they're auto only then would come with an 'automatic' sticker on the module. Look for the green looped wire inside the module to know for sure.

I'll try to get the number of the guy who installed the same alarm on my friends car. It would probably be in your best interest to ask your own installer if he can do it though.
