: External HD + PS3

I have a 500gb external drive and PS3 won't recognize it. From what I read I need it to be in FAT32 file system?

Does anyone know how and what program to use to get this done?

Uhh yea I did which lead me to this post. Seems like some methods work and some don't so I thought someone here has done it before sucessfully.

But I appreciate your useless post. I guess you didn't get your tub of butter or lard today.

or search the forum for it. I'm pretty sure I've seen that covered in the PS3 thread several times.

So you still didn't get it after a Google? Even going to Wikipedia has a link to a line command that will format any drive to fat32 (http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?fat32format.htm).

So my post was totally helpful, you are just helpless :lol
