So we've got a day drive set up for Vancouver Island. I'll be taking a ferry over that morning, so anyone from Vancouver PM me and we'll meet up before heading over there. There is three of us so far, feel free to post up if your at all interested.

When: November 8 is the date, meet at 12pm (noon). Will wait for 20 minutes.

Starting Point: Beacon Hill Victoria, it's the big light house on the ocean.

Destination: Youbou pub 1.5 to 2 hours from Beacon Hill. From the pub we could head back to Duncan and head home from there or proceed further north to Chemainus or Ladysmith. After, jolt back to Victoria via Highway 1. Totalling around 400kms.

Not that it really matters that much, but Beacon Hill is actually a big park just outside of downtown. There is no lighthouse, because it's not actually on the ocean.

The spot you've got flagged on that Google Map is Clover Point, and there's also no lighthouse there. That said, it's a nice spot. Have a fun trip!

there is sorta a lighthouse at the tip of the break water ... but ya def not beacon hill that far towards dt ... should be a good drive though ill see if i can make it out at least to say hi to a few people
