its a shame how after so many years, chrysler still sucks
i work as a valet at joey's and i have parked so many chryslers and all i have to say is that they dont feel solid. the way the doors close, cabin ambience, steering, comfort, sound system, everything just doesnt cut it. the exteriors are horrendous looking as well. i wish the executives at chrysler woke up and smartened the f up

I worked at a can rental, and we have mostly chryslers in our fleet.
Its about time they kill off the patriot and compass. Those were completely crap.
Im surprised they're keeping the PT cruiser though..ugh

doubt they will bring 500 let alone abarth :(
prolly not the most marketable car by fiat...and even if it comes, expect it to be made in mexico hahaha...most likely we will get smth like the punto or bravo...based off a chrysler chassis....LOL

by the end of 2010, Fiat will incur shit load of debt and then sell Chrysler to some East Indian company. Some indian company will design shit based on Tata Nano with Hybrid. Then Chrysler will be renamed to Currysler

Don't know about Canada, but the first 500 they're bringing to the States IS the Abarth.

I hope you are saying it in jest.
USA >>>> Korea in terms of general living, race relations, heck even gender equality. Read the article below:
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/02/world/asia/02race.html?_r=1&scp=7&sq=Korea&st=cse
korea >> usa
few things you are a bit off on:
Caliber stays to get a new face in 2013
Avenger stays and gets a brother called Chrysler 200 (same car - diff badge)
Sebring will die in 2011 or 2012
most of the cars in 2011 will be based on Fiat
the Fiat 500 will come in two variations (confirmed so far...) the turbo and the abarth

I'm not reading your article and I'm not gonna argue my point with you of all people anyways.
I should have said Korean cars >> American cars, but I assumed it was implied......

Chrysler is such a fail. The 300C hasn't even had a facelift since it came out which was back in 2004. The Challenger for the most part has been a flop. The rest of the line up sucks. The only decent car Chrysler has come out of late is the new Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The challenger is a success - SRT8s have 15k-20k above sticker and they sell like hotcakes. limited edition colours for the R/Ts are factory orders only, so far..
The Caravan is the best and the most sold minivan sold in North America, ever, and sells by the pound every day.
The Ram is the best pickup truck ever built. Received 15 awards this year. Truck of the year.
The chrysler brand itself isnt doing that great, but Dodge and Jeep (under the chrysler wing) have been doing good.

Even then, that's because they're using a Mercedes CDI engine.. LOL
I hope they don't change too much from the 200 prototype, and dump it down to like the existing Avenger.. like.. wtf is that shit?

any word on whether Fiat will continue the SRT models for grand cherokee, charger, 300C...etc
alfa romeo will be sold alongside Fiat, so im assuming it will be available in chrysler dealers.
SRT models will continue but they might be rebranded and offered with twin turbo V6 instead of the thirsty 6.1 or the frugal 5.7
If anyone has read today's Province - there's an articale about how Chrysler broke even for the month of September, something that other domestic manufacturers are struggling to do.
Also, official word is that they will continue with the Dodge Caravan until after 2014.

The SRT never came in 5.7, only the 6.1 but it's been rumored that the SRT's will get the 6.4 with maybe MDS.

Forget the 300C, the PT cruiser has been out for a decade with no changes at all.
