im surprise BB and FS carries different line up now, sneaky basterd so ppl cant price match even tho tat doesnt affect me since i get staff price

LN55B640 i guess its same shit as LN52B610
spec wise looks same

80,000 Dyn contrast ratio
4ms response time
120hrz
just one is 3" bigger for $100 more, which makes the 55" makes more sense?
go big or go home after all

but LN52B750 seems to have a wicked spec
150,000 dyn contrast ratio
2ms response time
240hrz (doesnt do shit in my eyes but the contrast ratio is the double amount which is a win right there )

hey dude..... sorry to jack this thread, but I saw the LN52B750 for sale too.... I went to Visions to see if they could beat fs price and they don't carry it, but they offered the Sony KDL46XBR9 for the same price ($1788) but you have to buy the extended warranty which becomes a credit if you don't use it.

After looking at both tv's specs, they are pretty much the same. Only decision needed is do I want a Sony or Samsung? I don't know which one to get.... The sales guy was totally pitching the Sony saying that XBR is the shit, but I personally have liked Samsungs in the past. Anyone have any helpful input?

But in regards to your 3, I would go for the 750... I think it's a pretty good price for the quality you are getting. Or if you want a Sony.... head on over to Visions and get the same deal I got.

maza

dude tats a 46"

46" and 52" is like another $500-700 dollar difference if not more

100,000 ratio
240hrz pretty damn good

so for $1700 i might as well go samsung

46" vs 52" is quite a bit of difference that you will be noticing for THOSe that are aiming big. Not those mickey mouse size tvs

ya im really leaning towards the 3rd samsung

even tho the first samsung is 55" but i dont think 52" vs 55" u will be noticing any difference, might as well as aim for quality
damn they dont have it in stock anywhere else, except the warehouse

sorry.... the model he gave me was for the 52", but he was trying to sell me the 46" version. That's why he was matching FS price.

I'm actually leaning towards the Samsung.... reviews on the Sony were good, but not great.

Since you are getting it at staff price, I'm assuming you work for FS? If so, is this model exclusive to FS?

I would go with a Panasonic plasma but if i was going to get a LCD I would get one that uses LED's and does local dimming. I'm not a fan of LG but the KG 55LHX with local dimming has a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1 and is one of the best TV's money can buy.
