i think if anything, its got too much orange accent or the orange is in the wrong spots.

Like for instance, the grill, you keep the upper layer black, but the sides of the inset part orange.

as for the wheels, i would even go further by asking them to seperate the wheel, and paint the WHOLE wheel drum orange. including all the drum part behind the spokes. if they cant seperate it then, just mask off the spokes, and paint the whole drum in orange.

if your original idea was to strive for something different, kudos you managed to do it.

a few things that was a bit loud was the orange color and placement of it. Perhaps if you chose a different color, or placed them in areas where it wouldn't overtake your base color scheme (black) it would've been perceived better. (again, accents should not overtake the base)

hey, maybe you should come over the niclub.ca, its a strictly nissan and infiniti forum, great bunch of guys, they can give you some constructive criticism

its a good start, but the orange rear and front are a little off, if it's a show car then good job! that is show car material, but if it is an everyday driver, your gonna get head turns the wrong way, repaint the rear and front black, leave the wheel lip orange, that is sick!, leave the calipers red since you have red lugs and red seats, you could try cf roof, trunk, and hood

the thing about black g's is that it can look REALLY JDM, which is really cool, black g, with cf on the top gives it it's jdm aggressiveness, then slapping some really bright paint on the wheels gives it a "don't fuck with me, im JDM"


oh and dont forget to go FI!

oh and if you don't want to spend the money on real cf, just do a cf overlay

Well like others have said, interesting concept but the execution is wrong. Instead of bashing I came up with a few alternatives that I think look better. No matter what you choose to do, there'll always be people who will have negative things to say. Even if you had a stock G35 you'll find someone who'll bash you for having a G35.

I own a black g35...its stock - and it looks way better than your car.

All that money that you spent just made your car look ugly as hell (imo). If you like it great i guess

If anything paint everything black or CF the front and rear diffuser where its orange. Keep the orange rims - MAYBE that might look ok.

But the amount of money you must of spent could of produced a much nicer look. Being subtle when modifying a car usually makes it look nice. When you start mixing black and orange - its going to be a disaster.

But whatever makes you happy i guess......?

Most people are just boring. Look at all the comments about stock or just dropped with wheels. I got many of the same comments from the boring Mercedes forums when I posted my 2-tone ride, and it was black/silver with only an orange pinstripe.

If someone modded their Porsche like this without Porsche offering it from the factory, people would call it rice with the orange wheels, mirrors, stickers and wing. Instead people drool over it. :confused:

actual, the real in thing right now is custom air brushed, tatoo style drums on the wheels.

i think its kinda cool actually, its as custom as it can get with tatoo type patterns. but so long as the color scheme is kept simple enough, it can work with the car.

The headlights aren't blue, they are xenon angel eyes, its hard to take a picture of them without over-exposing the rings.

Hey, your G35 CF interior looks good! Overall, if orange is your thing, kool for you....but you should rethink your front end treatment, it doesn't look right...I would keep it blk with blk grille and maybe some very minor orange treatment. I would also tone down the rear diffuser colour. Your orange lip rims are wild enough!
