dumb suggestion but maybe post this up as a sign where you found it. my friend recovered his wallet this way... he was retracing his steps after he discovered it was gone and happened to see a "found" poster for his wallet near a store he was at earlier.

try searching the person's name on facebook?
i found a wallet last week and sent her a message on facebook
met her up and gave it back to her.
needless to say she was very thankful =)

Question. If you know this was a lost and found item, would you buy it?
Well... I would think twice about it, cause I'll feel bad. lol

You made sure the picture on her ID was the same picture/person shown in the facebook, right? Not just someone with the same name. ;)

I put it on Craigslist lost and found just before this post. No replies yet.
I tried once it to see that it works, and checked the name and stuff.
My brother bought a DS last year, so I didn't play this one.
Good idea on the sign thing, I will try that.
Regarding Facebook, it only has the first name of the person on the DS, unfortunately.
I thought it might of been someone on RS/cousin/relative/friend may of lost it, because RS has quite a large network for Vancouver.
