Shaw fails.

The old guy is Veeno Dewan. Apparently he was the producer and director for Top Gear.
"Veeno Dewan was previously a producer and director for BBC's 'Top Gear' TV series in the U.K. and director for 'Driver's Seat' in Canada, and now writes regular automotive columns for Mehfil magazine, Roots newspaper and the Link newspaper in western Canada."

I dont see how a guy who came from producing and directing Top Gear manages to make such a piece of shit show.

It's on right now on 119.

my friend sasha is the co-host on the show. it seems pretty cool for her at least because she gets to drive nice cars, like taking the R8 across canada

Top Gear has rotating directors, producers per episode. Based on the article, he was working in Canada from 2000 - 2006 and presumably until now. Maybe he was part of the old Top Gear before the series reboot in 2002. And for what it's worth, he's not a credited staff member of Top Gear on IMDB, which seems to be pretty comprehensive for all episodes after the 2002 reboot.

Normally I'd say "This should really be in the Movies, TV, and Theatre forum...." but I'd really rather not have this show anywhere near the part of Revscene I happen to be a part of.

That was amazing. I have never watched a TV intro where I wanted to rip my eyeballs out and simultaneously piercing my ear drums with a sharp screw driver and to dig my brains out.
