They sell for about $12,000 CDN.

I believe they have stopped production on the Mk1's recently and is being replaced by the new golfs apparently.

i believe the production of the mk1 has officially ended as of a month or so ago...
would have to wait 15 years at least to import one of these... but to say the least it would be pretty cool/unique to have a brand new mk1...

ya i know i want one of these so bad to park next to my mk2
but too bad they stop making them and i have to wait so long before i can buy one
