My dog is too old now to be super excited. At least i see her little tail wag slightly, indicating that she is happy. I dread the day I will cease to see that little tail move. I dread Losing that little moment of happiness that removes the misfortune of the day.

My cocker spaniel greets me at the door. But my chihuahua says 'sup?' from his bed couple meters from the door

my dog use to do that as a puppy... get all excited when ur home, get all so excited he ends up pee'ing himself which usually happens to be ur shoes because he's jumping all around you.

now, he lays at the top of the steps, until ur within feet of him, then he jumps up all happy. basically he fakes his excitement. then once he's back inside, he runs and gets his rope toy and shoves it in ur face so you will play with him...

Our chihuahua is like that everytime we come home... maybe because she's still young... only like 15 months old.

When we come home, she's super excited, and she always goes to look for something to carry around in her mouth like a toy or a bone... almost like she wants to give it to us... except she doesn't. LoL. :p

my Rabbit acted like this dog whenever my mom would go downstairs to see him, he'd even jump in the air and shake constantly like he was having a seizure... never ever did that for anyone else :(

that was annoying me at first but i figured this is just about the dog who cares about the owner

Good morning revscene! Why not start your day off by reading this:

meh,
to an extent,
we have a cat and hes a little bastard sometimes. However, sometimes when i come home he'll come running to the door to look at me, meow, and run away. I swear he's secretly telling me he hates me. Before he used to shit in the sink instead of his litter box. Now hes just fucking with us by shitting beside the litter box instead of inside it...

When I came back from vacation once, my cat was so happy to see me, he was rolling around like that dog and drooling all over the place! It was weird...

Cats aren't as bad as people think, but they will never be as loyal as dogs.

My wife put it best, I think, after we got our dog: "Cats are great, I love my cats... but cats are boring."

my little dog used to be very excited like that but now she's 13 years old and only her tail shows indication now when you come home. i got this dog for free when she was a baby due to owner moving out of country and i still have no idea what kind of dog it is. only dog i seen similar to mine on tv is that Maria Sharapova canon camera commercial 2-3 years ago. even pet cetra dont know what my dog is call when i take her for a hair cut lol

My dog goes insane like that when we go away for a week on vacation. Apparently he acts all depressed when we're gone or at least that's what my buddy tells me when he house sits. I think he has separation issues because when I'm home he never leaves my side and by my side I mean he lays right next to me and follows me wherever I go. If I shower he's sitting outside the door waiting for me to get out, if I go into the basement to play Xbox he follows, if I mow the lawn he comes outside and watches me from the patio furniture.

Does your mom feed the rabbit? that will explain everything.
My fish goes crazy too when I walk near the tank...;)

My dog also does the same thing everyday not only when i come back from work, but also when I leave for work in the morning....that's because I always give him a milk bone just before I leave, so I think he is usually happy to see me to go in the morning. :haha:
