Hopefully it still works, keys are "limited"
Just need to sign up for a fileplanet account, don't need to pay for any subscription.

Once you get the code, redeem it in PSN store

This game looks like it'll give MW2 a run for its money..but since its EA it'll be buggy as shit for the first few months.

I didn't know they had vehicles in this game...I'm hoping they'll put their efforts into a Battlefield 3 after this game! I know the players that were let down by MW2 are all anticipating this game quite a bit.

beta's gonna be 2months long
the graphics on this beta ps3 isn't very impressive...given it's EA they wont bother improving it for the release
pretty fun though..recoil and kick is there so it's pretty challenging playing on a controller (feels like CS..COD games are dumbed down in this area) i can see it translating really well into PC. pretty stupid how you cant use MG simutaneously with your canon in the tank (have to switch positions)..that's how i dominate in BF2 =(

Wow, BF Bad Company looks pretty awesome. This is the first time I've actually watched a video of the game play.

This might get me away from MW2 when it releases. I'll probably get it for PC though.

bad company maps are more focused and larger than bf2 32 player maps but not as large as 64p maps.

I always played the 32 player servers in 1942 and bf2, maps were way too unfocused otherwise.

Same here, the 64 player maps were too big and unless you had a vehicle you were screwed. I'm 50/50 on the jets, they were too easy to dominate with but ONLY worked on the biggest maps so they had room to use their speed. Also, AA was far too ineffective on any maps that didn't have mobile AA. Maps like the island one in BF2, if you were good in a jet you'd never get killed cause the only thing that could shoot you down was another jet. I'd prefer they upgrade the complexity and capabilities of the helicopters both attack and transport. Blackhawks for example in BF2 were deathtraps cause the miniguns did nothing which was BS. Using them as air support with the miniguns or by having snipers onboard was impossible in the game when in reality it plays a massive part in modern war.

i still have one
first person to PM w/ over 250 posts gets it.
edit: gone

Apparently they'll be taking pre-orders shortly on steam, (unforunately) there is no steam activation if you purchase the retail version (I personally prefer steam for easier friend invites)

Is there a beta still active for the pc version, can't wait to try this out.

I personally played only 64 man servers in previous BF's cause it's more run and gun

Recon ftw

if you pre order it on Steam, u automatically can enter the beta

so essentially, its like getting the game a month ahead.. it goes from jan 28th to feb 25th

I wonder if they'll release a 4-pack for preordering. I also want to actually try the game without having to pay full price.

i guess im one of the few that really like BF:BC, i like the gold rush game mode as you either attack or defend, because it forces to give everybody a motivation/goal instead of the usual frag fest.. played that thing for almost a year with over 400 dog tags collected
so for me, i have no hesitation of buying it

plus i really digged the destructable environments, was just dissapointed DICE never really any "real" DLC maps for it, im pretty sure the 2nd one will get more support
