So initially I ordered some wheels from a local shop, and that fucker didn't tell me they were on back order. Long story short, I got my deposit back after some time and I ordered some new wheels from a friend of a friend of mine.
He just started his shop and hooked me up with a good price. The wheels arrived last week and I will be rolling on these until my snow tires arrive on the 30th.

These wheels are Work 11Rs 18x9.5 +20.

The width/size of the wing is not bad, but the height of it, damn is it overwhelming!
Not really a photo shoot IMO

Thanks for the comments guys! This was just a mini-shoot that we had briefly. We're going to have a professional photo-shoot next week or the week after. I'll update the pictures by then! :D

That looks good man. I think the EVO can get away with a wing like that.

For some reason the wheels don`t look as wide as the specs would have me believe. I`d prefer something a bit wider with a more squatted stance. But I realize it`s not for everyone. For reference, my favourite EVO belonging to Ryan Gates at Gates311.com sitting on 18x10.5 +18 CE28N`s

Well I'm only riding on 245/40/18 tires (stock). It'll definitely be more flush if I go 265 or 275/35/18 + a fender roll. :)

maybe a few inches lower. but its how he wants it

although i'm not a HUGE fan, i think a TA stripe would look nice. just to offset the black on black.

and are the front and rear bumpers stock? either way they compliment the car very well.

Yeah we got kicked out too :P, i guess you need to go there when there are less people/late at night.

Also, the wing is awesome but i mirror the response here that it is too high, at least visually.

I'm already scraping here and there, so I don't really want to lower it anymore since I DD my car. I'm planning on getting a front lip, but since winter is coming, I'll wait it out unless I find a good deal on one.

I don't know if I'm the 1st 11R owner locally, but I haven't seen these locally so far.
I realized that this isn't exactly the best "photoshoot", but my friend and I just wanted to take some quick shots on the day I got my wheels mounted to show some of our friends.

Any lower it'll look like an APC wing. Although like someone posted the factory wing is all fine and dandy as it is but if you are going to go for a ballin' wing you might as well hang it high.

Well I wouldn't have changed my wing if I could get my hands on an MR wing... the GSR wing doesn't really work for me lol... it was either wingless or MR wing. But I figured if I wanted to go with a wing, mind as well go BIG. But then again... a lot of people don't like GT wings on street cars (hell you even put a pic of my car in the hall of shame XD), so maybe I should have just went with the MR wing... it could've saved me a few bucks as well ><.

I'm doing it on the streets for looks since I DD my car. On the highway, it's a different story lol. If I hit the track, It'll be for down force obviously :).

IMO wheels need to be 1 size bigger... maybe, but for sure needs lower offset IMO.

Maybe it's because I'm running the stock 245/40/18 tires on them right now... they're definitely stretched. When spring comes I'll be on 265/35/18 or 275/35/18, which will sit even more flush to my fenders. :D

Believe it or not, they are the same exhaust LOL!! It's just that i cleaned it up real nice before the summer meet so it was nice and shiny, but it was hella dirty from all that rain when we took these photos! :lol

I haven't seen my exhaust this clean since the summer!
