Big Xtra was at the Guildford Mall Wal-Mart in Surrey, IIRC. When I was last there, I chose a Big Mac though.

McDicks is fucking awesome, but something about the quality slid a bit. Sure it's fast food probably made by kids I know at my school, but I remember it as close as 6 or 7 years ago being ridiculously satisfying. Having Big Xtras when I was in Grade 6 (8 years ago) was great.

I fucking LOVED Mc Donalds when I was in high school, their were deals everyday of the week and it was so cheap too $1.39 or something for the daily burger and $3.99 for the meal. I would usually just get a meal with 1 burger, if I feel like killing myself I usually opted for another burger. Mc Chicken Wednesdays was the best, a meal + 2 burgers after school with extra mc chicken sauce NOM NOM NOM NOM. Filet O' Fish fridays was pretty awesome too ;) I ate it like 3-4x a week after school cause it was so close to my house and it was CHEAP as well. I felt like SHIT afterwards, I would usually watch some TV and then sleep til 8-9pm and wake up, still feeling like shit. My heart would beat so fast during my sleep after fast food :(

However, they took the daily deals down in my last year of High school and I just stopped going cause it was getting pretty expensive. I would just eat it like once every month or sometimes even longer when theirs nothing to eat at home or I just want a quick bite when I'm out. After each Mc Donald meal I would feel even worse, it's like putting 87 Octane in a M5/M6 and you would just feel like ass the entire day. So I basically stopped eating Mc Donalds and I just eat it when my friend works there, $3-4 for 20 pieces of chicken nuggets mmm... :D Fast-food in general is pretty bad but if I had to pick I'd choose KFC > Wendy's > A&W > BK > MCD. KFC's Big crunch combo is pretty fucking UNBEATABLE :) I usually opt for Wendy's, A&W or BK nowadays instead of Mc Donalds cause the price is about the same and I think the quality of the food at the other chains are better then Mc Donalds IMO.

In Japan, don't go to McD's if there is a Mos Burger nearby. Mos Burger is the best fast food burger I have ever eaten. In Japan, the burger you are served even looks like the burger in the photos, perfectly arranged with neatly layered lettuce, tomato, etc.

Oh man the McDeal days were the best. Bigmac monday, mchicken wednesday and double cheeseburger thursday. The best was getting a mcchicken and adding hot sauce (when they used to carry it - now they just give you fucking salsa when you ask for hot sauce.). I would drive down at lunch time and always have exact change ready for the dude.

well u cant really compare big mac to big xtra even tho they are both hamburgers

big mac is on a 3 part bun while big xtra is on a 2 part bun

we use 2 pieces of reg meat (1/10) on a big mac
and 1 piece of 1/4 meat on a big xtra

also, you guys should try the new wrap we have at the grandview hwy and renfrew location..
its not too bad, and the cheese is grade A quality.. literally $3 for a spoonful, dunno why its so expensive

Say for example, I were to order a McChicken and I wanted a grill order by adding a tomato and quarter onions. Do they charge you for the the extra condiments/toppings? Just wondering if they still do this. I used to work at McDonalds.....exactly 10 years ago. :lol

Yea, they still charge you for the condiments... it can only get more expensive not cheaper haha, sometimes my friends order Big Mac meals etc I cringe because they're pretty gross and for the same price $6-$7 can get me a huge bowl of pho!

McDonalds just keeps getting expensive and its obvious they make so much money but the wage is so low and the actual amount required to make all the things aren't even 20% of what they charge... so basically it costs less than 20% if not less to make what you buy

If I remember correctly, Angus Burgers cost only 1.29 to make.
