a guy fell almost 30 ft off a ladder. Might have been putting up xmas lights of something.
take extra care if you guys are doing similar stuff.
Ambulance and Fire truck are attending now. hope he's ok.

Been there done that, hurts like a motherfucker. My fall was about 20 feet, 30 would be a lot worse.

i think he landed on the wet lawn so it shoulda been softer. they carted him off on a strecher, and not a body bag, so at least he's alive.

I fell just over 20 feet and landed flat on my back on gravel. I didn't have any lingering injuries, concussion (this was in the 80's and was classified a 7 day headache) and a sore leg. I was only 11 or 12 years old I don't know if that helped or not. If my kid climbs on the neighbors roof with his friends I'm going to hit him with a belt. Quote:
