A few years ago,I was told about this retard from the local RX7 community, this retard did not want to spend the money on a aftermarket cone airfilter,so he decided to put a t-shirt and wrap it around his turbo for a airfilter, and the t-shirt was held in place with a rubberband. This moron drove around the block and came walking back, apparently the turbo sucked the t-shirt in and destroyed the turbo.
His reason for doing this was,he wanted beer money for the weekend.

A DIY filter makes prefect sense for a car that's probably worth around $50.

"Man is that ever cool"
instructions too complicated, just get any old vacuum bag from your home, empty out the contents of the bag and then wrap the opening into the intake, duct tape the opening to seal the kenwood vacuum bag and voila, SHORT RAM INTAKE boy

LOL at 2:15 you can see what is part of the MAF sensor. It's still attached to the old intake ducting. It even seems that he was too lazy to remove the connector, so he just cut it.
"cars don't need sensors, the Model T didn't, why should I!" *shakes head*

Go get quicksteel from Lordco, take out whatever you did there, and just cover the whole area up with quicksteel...That thing works even if the surface is wet lol.
and then it'll still slightly drip but you can use radiator stop leak (use it the way it's prescribed on the side of the bottle) to stop the slight drip and it'll be good for years to come. :haha:
