It needs hard piping from the IC pipes to the manifold. Notice how it flexes when you rev the engine? It's like one giant coupler waiting to break.

I noticed that too....for $30K, you would think they could engineer a plastic/aluminum IC pipe....the M3 looks and sounds wicked...however when it is time to sell, it will be worth less than a stock M3...must be nice to have that kind of disposable cash.....

btw, I was going thru Craigslist the other day and noticed the crazy guy with the Laguna Seca Blue E46 M3 with supercharger, wide body kit, lambo doors, etc. couldn't even sell his beast for $35K......
