Dilemma: what would you do?

so if your old work place invites you out for lunch with their new director - do you go?

i left the co. on good terms, and still talk to the bosses. however, it seems that i'm the only one that is invited that is not currently working for the org.

whats the ethical thing to do?

Oh, then I think their intentions are just as a friendly invitation. It seems you are very close of them and they probably thought, "Oh, lets invite *tiger_handheld's real name* to the lunch that we're having seeing as he helped us out a lot"

If thats the case then I wouldn't mind going. Its like a get together.

i dont' see any problem with the situation at all...??
Unless the company you are working for is in direct and fierce competition with them, it sounds like just normal business socializing
