minimum requirement for DiRT 2 is a 8800GT :s
so thats putting everything on lowest settings and it will barely run ??
not to mention a lot of games are implementing DX11
and most of those cards probably can't even handle DX11
if you wana stick to DX10 graphics, probably may wana wait til more DX11 cards come out than the DX10 cards will drop in price
also boxing day is coming soon NCIX probably put up some 4890 for cheap, since its getting out of date now :s

But as others have stated, wait it out for a month for boxing day sales.

Hehe thanks for the reply guys
I'd be upgrading from an ancient Geforce 7800gt, so i'm sure anything would be a nice upgrade. The Sapphire Radeon HD 4830 mentioned above looks to be a decent deal. I only have a 460w power supply at the moment, and the 4890 recommends a minimum 550w. Looking for a really quick cheap upgrade. Any other comments on the 4830?
Appreciate the help guys

since you have a weaker power supply i suggest 4770 since its on the 40nm chip vs a 55nm chip. smaller chip = smaller power consumption = less heat.
