: Shaw Cable HD question

i was wondering if sportsnet HD pacific is included in HD basic.
Because in the sports package you get sportsnet east west pacific blah blah

Actually I don't think HD Basic has any of the HD sports channel, you'll need to add the HD Sports for 3-4 bucks more or just pay 9 bucks more and get the HD Plus which includes the rest of the channels on HD (which isn't a lot)

it's not included with the hd basic package

you must have hd sports or hd plus

unfortunately you're not able to cancel the basic cable package. you must have it for have any cable services at all

Honestly most of the reason I pay for cable. I download all the shows I watch anyway but if I'm just sitting around bored I like to have the food network on. Would be soooo sweet to see it in HD.

couldn't have said it any better ... this is probably the #1 channel I want in HD

I got 6 months free of HD Plus from Shaw and I find myself watching Golf, BigTen, Speed and Discovery a lot ... but with all the sports HD in HD Plus, I think I'd subscribe to it after my free run is up since I was already paying 4 bucks a month for just sports HD ...
