: HD DVD player

Hey just curious, does anyone know where i could score a decent hd dvd player, just got some hd-dvds from a friend, and have nothing to play it on.

i was gonna get rid of my xbox 360 hd dvd player about a year ago until i score myself a bunch fo hd dvds for cheap

HMV downtown was selling HDDVD's $20 for 5

was pretty much worth it to buy one, pick up all the movies they had there and be done with it lol

Keep the movies. Resell it in 15 years. I bet it'll cost an arm and a leg to buy one at that time. :)

hahaha laser discs... my dad had some pretty awesome laser disc JAV .. too bad my mom found them while she was moving and threw them away ... :(:(

Me too. Except it's also a Bluray player... so I managed to get the best of both worlds! :D

HD DVD & Blu-ray players are pretty rare..that must've done some dmg to your wallet when you picked it up huh?

Nope. It was some LG player I picked up from NCIX last year for something like $169 or so. Installed it on my HTPC and never had to worry about the stupid HD format wars.
