Exclamation VPD make million dollar ecstasy bust

http://www.news1130.com/news/local/m...10_181407_2616

Police label it as one of the largest ecstasy busts in recent memory
Jim Goddard VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) | Thursday, December 10th, 2009 3:18 pm VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Vancouver police are ranking it as one of their top five ecstasy busts in recent memory.

Inspector Brad Desmarais says more than a million dollars worth of ecstasy pills were found while police were investigating a suspected home invasion yesterday near Nanaimo and 27th.

He says some were even stamped with the Olympic Rings, leading police to believe the pills were made locally. "Regrettably, like marijuana, B.C. is garnering a bit of a reputation as a source location for ecstasy."

Police say six ounces of cocaine worth $17,000 were also found. Two suspects in their late 20s were arrested. They were released with the condition not to go to any raves.

guess that means no avb/pvd for them!

They'll get a slap on the wrist for drug related stuff. However, they'll probably get their asses nailed to the wall for copyright infringement using the olympic ring logo without consent from the IOC hah

i love how they always embellish how much its actually worth...

Probably only worth a million if the caps were sold individually... Makes for a good story though...

When Buying That High Of A Quantity Their Probably Paying Pennies Per Cap, Yet "Street Value" means they record it as $5 each.....real values probably closer to $200,000

lol, it's not the first time & it won't be the last either. Drug dealers spend money = taxes = there's no incentives to get rid of them.
