Loss of hearing after getting slapped

Last night I got slapped really hard by a friend. The slap hit my ear and now I can't hear out of it. There's a loud ringing in the ear and that's about it. Should I see a doctor or wait it out?

See a fucking doctor if it hasn't stopped by now. Buddy of mine had a stick of lip gloss shoved in his ear and the doctor said he had a perforated eardrum. If it stops, then it might not been too serious.

My aunt who was slapped back when she was very young lost her hearing. Since then, she wore a hearing device. I strongly urge you to see a doc.

Sometimes people on RS are so fucking stupid. Your hearing is serious, so treat it that way.

i remember i used to hear a loud ringing before, went to audiologist and said everything was fine and that my hearing was really good. i still hear a slight ringing though when it's dead quite. i guess they couldn't really find the problem

Went to the doc on Monday and he said that I ruptured my eardrum. All I can do now is wait and see if it heals.
