anyone has recommandation on speaker dock? to be use for ipod touch 3rd Gen
Looking for something under $200. christmas gift for my brother.....

My research:
1) used bose sounddock on craigslist $175-$240
2) logitech pure-fi..... or other model (most are under $150)
3) apple hi-fi ($250 used?)
4) cheaper brand such as iluv, ihome, JBL.... (all under $150)

Any good buys or good model to recommand ( my brother is kinda audiophile), please do, but I won't be able to afford Ben and olufsen... etc

I use this one for my MP3 player.

It's designed for XM radio but has a aux input. It can be powered by a plug or 4 aa batts. I used it on the beach when I went to Mexico and it worked great. I was surprised by how good it sounded and it gets loud too. The batterys also last a long time.

If your brother is an audiophile, do NOT get iHome/iLuv. I bought one for my sister, and it works well because she just wants to hear the music, and doesn't really care for the quality. But an audiophile would probably rather listen to nothing that the iLuv

Harmon Kardon Go + Play, it was just on sale for $199, might be able to find a similiar price else where. Def worth the $199, not worth the $349, excellent sounding box.

$199 is a good deal, but i will have to wait for it to go on sale again. hopefully it will be before christmas.. otherwise need a backup plan
