Kepler Motors has released new information about the MOTION supercar, ahead of its official unveiling at the Dubai International Motor Show.
Designed to redefine "the paradigms of the supercar withunprecedented performance, style, exclusivity, safety and efficiency",the MOTION features Dual Powertrain Technology (DPT) and a uniqueall-wheel drive system. The front wheels are turned by a 250 hpelectric motor,while the rear wheels are motivated by a heavily-modified 550 hp FordEcoBoost twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6. This setup allows the MOTION toaccelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 2.5 seconds, before hitting a topspeed in excess of 200 mph.
Besides the advanced powertrain, the MOTION boasts a carbon fibermonocoque chassis, an active suspension, active aerodynamics, launchcontrol, a programmable track assistant system, and Continuous CarbonCeramic (C3) AeroRotors from StopTech.
Production will be limited to 50 units, and the first deliveries are expected to occur in 2011.
