within $20 per person

Check this:

It will help you out. I recommend Tamarind Hill! Very nice place. You can check out the restaurants by checking the Food Blogs entries for each restaurant. You can also see pictures of the place and food too.

If you've ever been to Malaysia, you'd realize that Tropika isn't really real Malaysian food. It's Malaysian food thats been made for Chinese tastes. It's still good, but just keep in mind its not truly authentic.

Authentic Malaysian food is so utterly delicious, I hardly have any words for it. '

Even a simple stir fry shown here that costs 5RM (About $1.66 CAD) tastes better than anything you could find here.

You guys will thank me later... just go to Steveston and visit a small family owned place named Kari House.

Website: http://www.karihouse.com/

It's amazing... everyone I bring there is super super impressed.

It's within your price concern to, most dishes are in the $12.95 or so range.

Obviously genius, but we live in Vancouver.

hmm nobody mentioned "Seri Malaysia" on Hastings & Nanaimo, it's a small hole in the wall thing.. but it's authentic.
