For sale is my rare 1999 Lexus SC400; only 905 made for this year. I've been trying to figure out how many are in Canada, and am quite certain its the ONLY 1999 SC400 in Vancouver!!!!
(I dont have many posts here on RevScene, but I post regularly on ClubLexus under the same user name. I'm sure I can get a few vouches on here if need be..)
Anyways, on to the good stuff!

Specs:
- 290 hp, 300 ft lb
- 130,000 miles
- 4.0 L V8 (1UZ-FE vvt-i)
- Automatic (manuals were never made in sc400's)
- Rear-wheel drive
- Traction & Stability control
- Fully loaded (just not heated seats)
- Power everything (seats, mirrors, windows, sunroof, etc.)
- A/C blows cold
- 6 disc CD changer
- Telescoping steering wheel
- 9 speaker sound system with build-in sub (sounds great)
- Keyless entry & immobilizer
- 3 driving modes (economy/power/snow) ..although I've never driven it in the snow, and I doubt the guy I bought it from in Phoenix did either lol
- tan leather perforated interior
- diamond pearl white exterior
- no accidents, no major damage or repairs
- the list goes on..

I have installed is a Carbing Strut-Tower bar ($300 value, waited 5 months to get it in from Japan), this can be included with the car but we'd have to negotiate that a bit.

carPC:
ALSO, I have installed carPC (7" in-dash touchscreen with Centrafuse 3.0) which I can include for an additional $2000 to the final negotiated price of the car. If you are unsure what a carPC is just call me and I can explain it to you, but basically it makes the car electronically on par with all new cars (navigation, bluetooth/hands free, internet, traffic, email, ipod connection, weather, obd2 scanner, etc etc). I'll post pictures below.
I've also uprgaded the amp with an Alpine PDX5 ($800 value), which is regarded as one of the best 5-channel amps on the market. Speakers & Sub are stock but sound amazing.

History:
The car is 3 owner (I am the 4th), however the first 2 owners were in the same family. First owner was a doctor in North Carolina. Second owner (the guy that I purchased it from) worked for the US military in Phoenix, AZ. I flew to Phoenix and drove the car back to Vancouver. The vehicle was imported mid-August 2009 and I've been driving it for a few months now. I have an extensive history of the previous two owners with the car, and emails exchanged between myself and the previous owner about the car. I can show this to serious buyers only. CarFax report in hand.

Condition:
The previous 2 owners were fastidious in keeping the car maintained. All the scheduled and major service has been completed (timing belt, water pump, serpentine belt, transmission service, synthetic oil change every 5k, new breaks and rotors, new tires, etc). I also have ALL the receipts for this work. The car has been garage kept its entire life.
- exterior 9.5/10 condition. There are no noticeable scratches dents or dings on the body. The previous owner had the front bumper repainted due to hitting a piece of tire on the freeway. There is a tiny (half a penny size) dent on the passenger quarter-panel, you cant even see it unless you look closely. There is a small spot on the driver-side side-skirt where the paint has bubbled.
- interior 9.5/10 condition (I would say 10/10, but I'll be realistic, its not brand new, but almost!). The tan leather looks almost unused. The only signs of wear are slight lines on the drivers seat. The passenger seat and back seats looks brand-new. No tears or holes anywhere. Common problems (cracks, tears, etc) are non-existent in this car.

I literally can not find any other flaws with the car, it is in immaculate condition. The car runs and drives like brand new.

Price:
I really dont know what to price this car at, as there is nothing comparable in Canada. You will never see this car driving down the road, let alone find one for sale anywhere in Canada. I AM OPEN TO SERIOUS OFFERS ONLY. This is my 3rd sc400 so I know the car and what its worth very well. I WILL NOT EVEN REPLY TO LOW-BALLERS. The only reason I am considering selling this car is because of its rarity, I know there are people out there looking for one. I am not in a hurry to sell, as I just bought this car as my dream car, and I dont mind keeping it.
So as a starting point let's say $15,000.
EDIT (10/10/17): Permanent price drop!!! Car is now $13,000 OBO!!!

Trade:
Would trade for a manual G35, 350z, M3 or something like that, with cash from my end of course.

Please do your research before making an offer.

Car is gonna be put in storage in a few weeks (if not next week) for the winter. No insurance means no test-drives. Come look at it now!!!

Update: just did a $78 full synthetic oil change.

All V8's burn fuel, just cuz theyre V8's lol. But as far as other V8's go this one is quite small (only 4 Liter) so its actually pretty good for a V8 on gas. Obviously it depends on how you drive it as well. Per $80ish 94 Octane fill-up I get close to 500 MILES to a tank, which is pretty damn good.
The car has an onboard trip computer (which were only available in 98+'s) which gives you a real-time and average fuel consumption reading.
Its nice having a smaller V8 because you get all the fun with a little thing called Torque and it doesnt cost you an arm and a leg in fuel :D

* Forgot to mention the 98+ models are vvt-i, which gives you 40 more HP and better fuel efficiency than any of the older SC's you see floating around.
