PRICE DROP TO 4500$ FIRM, PLEASE READ BELOW FOR WHY!

Hi Revscene,

Selling my 1997 240sx, my girlfriend has been driving this car for the last year and a bit and now we no longer ned two vehicles so this one has to go.

Price is 4500$ FIRM FIRM FIRM
Will consider trades for the right honda, looking for a ef/eg/ek, hatch only please... willing to put cash on top for the right car of course!

Specs,
1997
100000km
Auto
2.4L 4 cylinder engine, very good on gas
Limited slip differential
Air conditioning works great!
Power windows, power door locks, factory cd player, cloth seats
Red exterior and black interior
No rust at all and has a 3 month old windshield

In the last year the car has had 1 new ball joint, pads and rotors all around (complete brake job), two new tension rods, alignment, muffler, cat, new plugs with recent oil change, new tires... the car has been maintained very well.

Not sure what else to say, car was from southern Alberta and just had out of province inspection for BC, clean title with no accidents, the only major imperfection is a scuff on the front bumper.

Just the way it looks in the pic, the roof hasnt got so much as a single dent on it :) Actually the car is pretty dent free in genral! Too bad my wrx isnt the same way...

Drama party!!!

I think the mom joke was funny, you need to relax.

Car was OOP'd today and passed with flying colors! 6000 obo for a 1997 kouki, un molested, no accidents.. freshly inspected and in pretty darn good shape overall.

Ok, so I guess people assume you can buy a mint 1997 240sx for 6000$...

Obviously the car is not new and has wear and tear like any other vehicle, so seeing as some of the people that have viewed the car have found some things somewhat alrming... let me just list every last little thing that is wrong with the car!

Interior there are the following imperfections
-cig burns on the seats, mainly on the rear.

Exterior there are the following imperfections
-trunk release latch isnt working, the cable still works but either the hinge or release mechanism needs to be adjusted, maybe even just a shot of wd-40 would fix it.
-Pass side headlight and fog light have rockchips and have moisture inside.
-Front bumper has been re-sprayed and it wasnt the best job, there was also a crack in the bumper that was repaired and it is slightly visible.

Mechincal imperfections
-Car squeaks sometimes over bumps and under breaking, it's the lca bushings, the car was doing this when I first bought it the shop who did te front end work sprayed all the front end bushings with lithium grease and the squeaks went away... until recently.

The car is not perfect and I have no interest in meeting with people all day every day to show the car, it's a pain in the ass and it's not worth my time or yours if you dont think the car is worth the money. Maybe people are low balling or maybe the reality is that people dont want to buy 240's anymore. Either way I dont care.

Car passed out of province inspection on the 29th of December, you are getting a freshly inspected rust free, and accident free, low km 1997 240sx for the amazing price of only 4500$

I have been offered this already on a couple occasions, at the time I declined but selling this car is so eff'n annoying I should have just taken the money then and saved myself the irritation.

So new price is 4500$, first person that shows up with cash gets it, this car will get no more of my time, I swear I will just crush the thing if it causes me any more grief.
