: What "Fit Type" are you? Goals?

I saw this a chart on another forum, and thought it might make for an interesting poll:

http://carlrules.com/images/fit-modes.jpg

I changed the chart a bit, using a better example of "built". The original guy was pretty much the same as "bodybuilder" just not as absurd.

I also found a better version of "builtfat" - me! :lol That pic is from a while ago, I have gained about 5-10 lbs of fat since then ('Tis the season to be carby!). I basically look the same, but with a big gut :lol

My goal would be basically what I am now, but bigger and leaner. Not as big as the 'built' guy, and not as lean, but better than I am now.

I'm 6'2 270 lbs, in between builtfat and fat. And I'm Asian/Pacific Islander. I wanna start lifting weights to get down more towards builtfat in time for rugby in spring.

6' 178lbs

sort of the same shape as the swimmer up there with more meat and not as lean. not as big as the cut/athletic guy.

id say 60% athletic, 25% swimmer, 15% builtfat... based on those pics.

yikes.

That chart makes me swimmer/biker esque.

I want to be a wee bit more cut though.

Cut/Athletic but I'm kinda leaning to being built. I guess I'm sorta getting there.

5'7" @ 150lbs of 75% Cut/Athletic + 25% Built

at 150 lbs, it's going to be tough to be "built" like that! ;)

Are you exaggerating your height perhaps? ;)

Haha nope I'm 5'7". I guess I'm viewing "built" in a different perspective.

Going by those pics, I'm probably closest to the built category picture. My traps, arms, abs are similar but my chest isn't as big as the guy in that picture.

I'm 5'10, 195lbs.

I don't really know how much better I can get with my current gym situation. Problem is, the nearest "proper" gym to me is far away and pretty damn expensive :(

I don't know him so I can't say for sure, but I think we should also take into consideration a person's frame (a good indicator would be the thickness of your wrists). For example, a guy who is of medium height and ~170 lbs may be skinny, athletic, or even built depending on whether he has a large, medium or small frame. To pack 170 lbs onto a small frame is a lot of muscle but with a large frame, that person really doesn't have a whole lot of muscle mass, just big bones. I hope I'm making sense here.

I'm between a swimmers and a cut/athletic (voted for swimmers though). Although, I think if I was pumped from exercise (as the gymnast guy is) and also oiled myself up real good, I could pass for cut/athletic haha.

I'm somewhere inbetween builtfat and fat, with aspirations of bearmode. The last year or so I've been gravitating more towards fat, but nowhere nearly as bad as that fat dude.

Yeah I should definitely change the "fat" example, that is just overdone. I could use my own pic from a few years ago for that as well! :lol
