Found this on another forum that I frequent...quite possibly one of the best B5 RS4's I've come across.

Just sick!!

And yes...that is a WRX hood.

It's an RS6 V8 Bi-turbo swap as the RS4 came with a V6 Bi-turbo setup.

correct me if im wrong cuz im no mechanic but....uhmmmm....front mount intercooler + big ass subaru destined hoodscoop = what use does the hood scoop serve?

It actually uses two sidemount intercoolers and the hoodscoop is for the intakes. I will edit my post to describe the swap.

i assume the two black round circles within the hoodscoop are the twin intake filters? so the hoodscoop is probably used for hood fitment...

Sometimes the second cam is driven by gear teeth cut into the first cam.

I'm surprised no one's noticed the use of the frame rails as intake runners. ;)
