caps r pretty much useless for a stereo!
do u have a decent battery or stock one?, umm what size amps are they, and what are you running for power and ground wire? size i mean.
also do u ONLY have the factory grounds?
your stock alternator was never designed for aftermarket systems, especially with amps.
so its probably not charging ur car enough. try turning on the a/c w/ the audio system off. if the lights arent as dim, then you know. id look into upping ur alternator, maybe to something as much as 200A alternator.
upgrading the audio power wires helps too, especially if u have a long car, and big amps.
capacitor is only good for keeping the bass on temp with the music.
i suggest going to an audio sponsor, and discussing it with them, they can give u way more suggestions.
