When's a good time to fit the Summer tires back on?

I was reading the weather office for our city and the next 7 days forecast calls for some very very warm weather for a January.
Like this Sunday it's supposed to be +4 - +9
from previous weather trends in Vancouver when do you reckon is a good time to throw the summers back on?
I'm pondering something like if the Valentine's day is over +7 it's about time?
What do you recommend? Share some farmers' calendar knowledge among fellow drivers.

When WINTER is over. Winter just started 10+ days ago. Do you really need to ask. You guys keep forgetting winter tires aren't just for snow and ice. Itks for the traction and the grip in colder temps. Good time to change back is end of march early april

You seem to be anxious -- do it now
But seriously, like others have said. It's not just snow and ice but the low temperatures that you'll be driving through. January is usually the coldest month of the year.

The way the weather forecast is going I think it'll be like end of Jan for that to happen actually.

If I had a car, I never would have even put winters on. I run 37" mud terrains on my truck, its been in 2wd since I bought it.

^ yes it's nice to have more than one car. (looks in the garage) oh wait.
It's the 4WD car that have the winter tires on, how appropriate.
I run the snowies only because it's illegal to run the summer tires when snow fell for like less than a day last month.... Now it's gradually just getting warmer and warmer I feel that the snow tires are starting to take a beating from the warmer tarmac...

i wouldn't risk it if u have aftermarket rims that could get fucked over by the salt...that's really my only reason for being paranoid! I'm waiting til late march personally

if u'r anxious to get ur summers back on, just leave ur car home when the weather gets super cold again. I doubt it's gonna last for more than 1 week if it ever comes.

Revival because someone else is asking this question.
Summer already on and I'm not worried one bit.
^ +1, its unusually warm tonight, but i'm not complaining :D
i just mounted summer tires. dont really care if it snows, for that week the car will sit at home, no biggie.

Either way, if it does happen to snow, I'm prepared to spend 30 mins of my time to put my winters back on.

It's been a very very mild winter so far... Haven't needed to switch to winters at all. I wasn't in town when the snow and frost hit :)

i switched my winters on just before that december false alarm "snow warning"
i might go back to all seasons tomorrow. it's just too warm and i don't want the snow tires to wear out so fast.
and the loud humming sound is just annoying.
