I've been hearing how "good" this show is so I finally started watching it this weekend. My god...some of the lines and things they do on this show are hilarious :bowrofl: (i.e. grenade launcher comment)

This show is unbelievably addictive - so many drunken fights. You've got The Situation talking about how godly he is while being completely unsuccessful in scoring with any decent looking women. Snooki, being the least attractive of the girls, desperately trying to hook up, having said more than once that should anything happen with so-and-so guy, "I'm not gonna tell him to get off." The rest of them aren't as entertaining although I actually do like Vinny's personality.

As a Jersey native, I have no problem with MTV's "Jersey Shore," despite protests from other Garden Staters who believe the show unfairly depicts summer boardwalk crawlers as over-tanned bubbleheads or muscle-headed morons who fight so often that Alain Vigneault is an honorary executive producer on the show.

This is because it's difficult for me to dismiss these creatures as reality show inventions when I basically went to high school with them.

I've never seen a show in season 1 but I've started catching a few episodes this season with my girl. I can't believe this show is so popular amongst guys.
