hey guys im not sure if this is the right place, but its something to do with automotive...

i was looking at IIM's NRG seats, the ones that look like Recaro speeds or JDM ITR ones. but i have no experiance with this company, i was wondering they provide good quality. the price is pretty fair $219.99/seat.

i noe ill look look like a tool cuz they look almost exactly like recaros just with out the name on there... so i dont wanna hear about that haha

just looking for some feed back

Thanks guys

For the price it can't be beat i'd just be skeptical of how safe the seat is. The reason why Recaros are worth alot more is because of the R&D behind the seat. There's a reason why airplane manufacturers use Recaros along with a lot of car manufacturers. There's some youtube videos showing how replicas and even non FIA approved Brides don't hold up to some crash tests which is kinda scary.

The top is a Bride Brix and the bottom is a Recaro Speed.

It's not about racing. Those 2 videos show what would happen if/when you get rearended.

Spend the extra buck to get some real Recaros as your seats are safety items, or just stick with your stock seats (or get newer seats from the junkyard).

FYI, FIA only approves non-reclinable seats.

I thought Bride was pretty good.

They are crash tested to sustain 25G collision with 175 lbs passenger.

and yea, avoid $219 seats...your stock one will be safer anyways.

if your not looking for FIA approved seats check out the link i'm posting, they're shipped out of the U.S.

they're rediculously cheap, well built and keep in mind when you look at the prices there for the pair of seats. I was gonna pick up a set but they're not FIA
