: Scrap Yards

So, I've tried searching for some junk yards, and I've visited every shop on Mitchell Island.
Can anyone recommend or point me to other scrap yards that aren't on Mitchell Island? I can't seem to find any other ones besides them.

A friend and I are looking for misc. parts we can tear off ourselves. Something similar to Ralph's Used Auto Parts, where you can just browse the yard yourself.

Thanks in advance

90 Accord driver side door handle, Del Sol wiper arm, other random shit.

I'm looking for specifically walk-in shit, so I don't have to deal with the retarded Niko Bellic GTA-like people there ahaha.

Ralph's is on Scott Road (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=scott+road,+surrey&sll=49.259753,-122.809919&sspn=0.010447,0.025535&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Scott+Rd,+Surrey,+Greater+Vancouver+Regional +District,+British+Columbia,+Canada&z=15&layer=c&cbll=49.197187,-122.884579&panoid=LnR0WM3oWY6432JjSzwylw&cbp=12,334.55,,0,-0.52)

Pick a Part in Chilliwack.

Not that many places let people pick a part because too many people steal things.

However compare with places south of the border, prices here are 40% more.

Already found a bunch of places in surrey that let you browse for stuff. Got all the things I needed.
Right off the patullo bridge, most of those Scott road auto places let you browse for parts.

Bigtime. It's worth a trip south unless you just need something small. Yards are WAY cheaper.

Or have had any experience with this place?

They are expensive if you walk off the street, a lot of the times just 20% off dealers price.. They are not pick a part.

Go to BCBimmer there are a few other parts suppliers there.

The site you provided is for Affordable Autoparts in Burnaby.. they are not cheap. I got the run around a few times.. so no thanks. I told them the part number, and they showed me the wrong part, kept me waiting for 30 minutes and kept on insisting it is the right part even the part number is not right. In the end, I got a new part (door handle) cheaper new (no less) from Crevier BMW. The owner is Cantonese, who is paranoid about people going and look at the cars unescorted.

Oh man, you'll find lots of virgin hoods. I found a green one with the same supra-style spoiler as my rice.
I couldn't find any bumpers or hoods, but I managed to swipe some reflectors for my OEM bumper that's coming in ;)

Yeah, nothing yet.

BCBimmers seems like a site more dedicated to older models whereas I'm looking for the some newer model parts.

For BMW parts you might try Alpi's European on Scott Rd. They are good guys.

try car-parts.com they let you select the parts, then they tell you what yards have them.
