+1 I'm gonna assume they'll just tow your ish on the spot, unless you paid for parking.

getting those parking ticket costs like $25, changing new license plate is like $18

Yep..
It only really matters if you get a parking ticket from a public spot... Such as government owned street parking meter spots.

Maybe you should tell your good ol' friend to cough up the dough and pay for it.

That makes no sense. It's not as if changing your plates makes your other information change. Either they gave up, or you got better at ignoring them.

when they call tell them to f-off. really just give it to them. gotta fight fire with fire.
no need to change plates. if they send you a letter, see if it comes with prepaid envelope. if it does. put some junkmail and a piece of paper saying fuck off!

Changing your plate only means you are a 'new' car in their lot and won't tow you.
Private companies can't touch your credit, but they can take you to court. Ofcourse this only happens if you owe $xxxx.xx
in fines.
If your not gonna change plates then get your friend to pay ticket.

Impark is a private company... like what other people said:
1. Pay the fine
2. Don't park in impark patrolled lots
3. Park in impark lots, but change your license plate

Lol okay,
I've gotten like 15+ tickets from IMPARK over the last 2 years. I paid the first one and that was it...I continue to park there and they never tow my car...What happens when/if they tow my car? Do I just pay the towing company like $100 to get my car back or do I have to pay off the parking tickets at that point too?

GOod luck there buddy, if they ever find your car and towed it to their impound lot, you better bring a visa or cash to reclaim your car, if you car worth less than $1500, just leave it there with them.

It becomes a lien. Which is then sold on sites like Repo or auctions.

can i charge you money (ticket) for being on my house when i can call the cops (tow trucks) to get you out of my house?
Also tow lots can not force you to pay a private companies tickets.
seriously I have over 20 impark tickets. I park in a way that my car is UNTOWABLE (right next to a building, with my mirror touching the buildings wall) and i get out on the passengers side.

I have 5 parking tickets from school and its an impark lot. Went to DT for some shopping once.... went to the alley that I parked at and I thought I was tripping out when I saw a car that looked like mine on a tow truck.
Cost $40 to get it off
ORLY?? Better bring visa or cash? So they don't take pokemon cards?...WOWZ, GOOD THING YOU TOLD ME!!
sorry, what is pokemon cards? is it issued by chase or boa?
--> WOWZ, GOOD THING YOU TOLD ME <--
Your welcome !! some fucking idiots can't even handle a hundred bucks ticket; some can't handle to pull out more than $800 out of their interact; some poor broke doesn't even know there's a lot of alternative form of payments aka - bank drafts payable to themselves, bank draft payable to 3rd party; interact, visa, master, ae, cash, or even pay with a mometary bullion piece. I've tons of cusomter that said the same as you, but probably in a more polite way "thanks for telling me"
But I bet you that u're just dumb enough not to know there's lots of preference of payment by different company !! go play with your pokemon cards !! :haha:

the point of changing your plates is so you don't get towed.

sorry to bump this thread but i dun want to start a brand new thread just for a quick question
basicly i parked at easypark, was in a hurry and accidentally left my receipt on my dash instead of my ticket (receipt states the time i bought it, and how much I paid). I still have both my ticket and my receipt. I read once somewhere that i can just mail in the ticket they gave me, my receipt and the ticket and they will waive it. Is this true

email them they will waive... if not .. refer to post #2 of this thread

if it somehow gets lost in the mail then you have nothing to back up your claim.
what i would do is email them about your incident, and if they do request your receipt and ticket THEN you email them. make sure you photocopy both your receipt and ticket before you mail it out.

yea i was gonna photocopy it before i mail them out. I guess i will throw them an email first, if that gets ignore then i will just mail it out and if THAT still doesn`t work...then fuk them
Thanks for the help and suggestion!
