RICHMOND (NEWS1130) - A man has been kidnapped in Richmond by three masked men calling themselves RCMP.
The 51-year-old was taken from the Parker Place Mall parking lot Friday.
The group of men yelled out "RCMP" before shoving their victim in an SUV and driving away.
The victim wasn't hurt, but the kidnappers did take his stuff.
Mounties say a woman was assaulted inside her home on St. Albans Road just minutes later by another group of three masked men.
RCMP believe the men had the wrong house.
Call Richmond RCMP if you can help them find these men.

i always wondered how plane clothed police officers can use the "we yelled Police" as an excuse for exercising force and as a negative for a person resisting
when typical thugs can say the same

A botched Friday home invasion left an innocent woman with a fractured cheek bone, and investigators hunting for a trio of masked bandits.
Richmond RCMP Cpl. Jennifer Pound said investigators from the serious crimes unit are investigating two crimes that they believe at this point are linked.
On Friday, police were called after a 51-year-old man at Parker Place Mall was forced into a black SUV by three men claiming to be police, and then had his keys and other belongings stolen.
Investigators believe the man was targetted, but the bandits appear to have messed up a short time later after releasing the man unharmed.
About 20 minutes after being released, the RCMP were called to a home invasion on the 7000 block of St. Albans Road, where three men burst into an apartment.
There, they held a 30-year-old woman against her will and assaulted her.
She was eventually taken to hospital with facial injuries including a fractured cheek bone.
Police believe the trio wanted to enter the first victim's apartment, but then got the wrong one.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Richmond RCMP at 604-278-1212 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
