i'm glad she's back but what happened to her? i'm an ancient, so i last remembered hearing her music back in high school back in the late 80's/90's and then she sort of dropped off the face of the earth. i tried reading up on her on wikipedia but the article is kinda of messed up....

(and she is in her 40's with two kids?!? :eek: )

what happened to her, i think she got screwed by her record company (she got paid like nothing) and then she dropped out for awhile, got back in again with a new label but it didnt take off and she disappeared again.. guess she's trying for a comeback (oh yea and back in the day she had plastic surgery done to her face, looks like she had some more cuz she looks different again)


edit: and lol at the video, its like she caught her son at home sleeping with a drag queen and kicked him out, and then trying to be a 'good mom' shes trying to turn him straight again by coming on to him :haha:

wow i'm glad that there are people who remember who she is... i mentioned her to some of the younger pups here at work and they were going "toni who?"... runts.

i've been trying to scrape together what i could googling what i can... i'm surprised to say there isn't a solid article about her. born in 66-68 (confirms what StylinRed said about here not being clear on her age, although in an interview trey songz said toni was the same age as his mom (who is also very hot... am i going to burn in hell for saying that?))... she has 2 kids, one unforunately is a special-needs child :( , just recently separated from her husband but still working together, had to sue her asshole manager, 2 bad recording contracts, declaring bankruptcy, and a heart condition that almost needed surgery to correct (she's on some sort of meds)... she dosen't deserve this! :cry:

i'm hoping she will have a good comeback :thumbsup:

She was playing in Vegas for a while. When I was there a couple of years ago there was this huge poster of her draped to the side of a casino. I might have a picture somewhere, but I'll need to look for it.

Wow, she's been through a lot. She had breast cancer back in 2002 and it looks like she was already in Vegas at that time too, at the Flamingo.

if what wikipedia says is true, she had been doing shows as a regular gig in los vegas, but after her heart condition manifested itself she had to cancel all her events and was replaced...
