2010 winter olympic managment
do they do an audit on the management system after the winter olympics?
one of my friend works for a co-op job, one week ago, he was chilling and got no work. Now he is banking crazy hour time b/c of lack of management from the ppl who manage the Winter Olympics
gov't is serious fucked up, and to think if this happens in a corp. the managment team should all get fired
but the worest of all; no one is fixing it or is powerless to do so

OMG GIVING PEOPLE JOBS? FUCK THOSE PEOPLE!
trust me, there are so many cost over-runs that aren't even decisions made by Vanoc
i've talked to probably 4-5 people who worked/managed trades on the athletes village, the architects and engineers were making "Design changes" that literally cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to change and the only reason was for visual appeal.

Aside from the bad spelling, this is true.
One of my friends got offered a job and hasn't even worked a single day yet. Since he's on a co-op contract, he gets paid $7500 for the semester regardless of the amount of work he does.
He's ASKING them for work to do and they ignore his calls and e-mails. Went down to their office and even VANOC doesn't know what's going on. Basically, his work term report is going to be "I did nothing for half of my co-op term."
For what it's worth, these jobs barely qualify as work experience. My friends are business students and got assigned to jobs like bus dispatcher (graveyard shift LOL) that aren't even relevant to what they're studying.
lol, sorry about the bad spellings

Also throwing out semi truck loads of steel because to much was ordered and if it was returned the people who fucked up ordering to much would have been fired. Athletes Village was a complete clusterfuck, stupidly good money to be made if you worked there though. My best friend averaged about $80 an hour working on the village for a year and a half in an industry where the avg wage is about $30.
