find out the face value of the tickets?
for cat C tickets I'd says like $150 tops. You can find lower bowl for ~$200 easily.

i'd be wary about buying olympic tickets from people other than those you trust or VANOC (sad to say - boo to VANOC). there have been a lot of scams where people have been sold bogus tickets...
when you resell your tickets through the VANOC website, i think they reissue the tickets to the purchasers... and you end up keeping the old tickets. which then, if you were being dishonest, you could sell again to your victims. they would be totally legit-looking tickets but when your victims get to the door and the tickets get scanned, they'll find out that those tickets you sold were cancelled...
or so i've heard.

Then it's traced back to you for scamming and you'll fucked in the ass.

Is there a way to make sure my tickets aren't canceled or void before actually going to the event? I won an auction for a pair of Canada vs Switzerland tickets on eBay and received them this morning. The only thing I'm concerned about is that the seller only has 1 positive feedback.
