I'm not sure how many peeps here are huge fans like myself but FYI they are coming to town again between July 22 through August 15, 2010 at the usual place which is Concord Pacific Place. Advance Tickets are now officially on sale. Just grabbed mine can't wait! No need for presale passwords and stuff. If you just sign up as a member which is free you get access.

Ordered mine right when I got the email today at noon!! Loved Varekai and Corteo when they were here! Can't wait!

One day I would love to see "O"..

Don't waste your money. Compared to the ones that come to Vancouver, it was crap. Only thing worth being excited when it comes to "O" is the awesome stage they perform on. If you're in Vegas, I've heard good things about KA.

I've seen "O" twice, and Ka once. I fell asleep during Ka! Ka wasn't that bad, but I thought "O" was better.

O is the best of Cirque du Soleil, IMO

I watched all the shows when they came to Vancouver in the past as well as in Macau and Las Vegas.

I fell to sleep when I was watching KA, too ... ... ... ...

I liked The Beatles Love the best so far. Although there were less tricks then the others, the way they put the production together for it was fantastic.

This show was on cbc, back around Christmas time. It was pretty good, I haven't seen many of these Cirque de Soleil shows before.. But it looks like I'll be going to this one in the summer.

Saw "O" last year...wasn't that impressed. The dancing wasn't too synchronized, and the sound effect is sometimes off with the visual.

It was good but wasn't as good as I had expected. (Considering everyone seem to praise it a lot)

"Ka" performance was better, but i got bored already midway thru the play.

i've only seen Love and Mystere and I like mystere WAY better. Love is only for beatles fans...

speaking of tickets, how much is it for an average seat?

UnDeadMage

tickets are about 50-100 dollars for regular seating.

Pretty cool that they still have August 24 to September 05, 2010 presales (need to register for those). They are very empty as of now compared to the regular August 24 to September 05, 2010 shows.

I would rather watch a live sporting event.
Unless you have a girlfriend who makes you go see the circue da soleil.
Not to mention I know the guy who owns CDS.

Kooza was absolutely stunning...but if you're familiar with Chinese circus, some of the acts will not be new. The two guys on the revolving wheels = OMFG.

They do, but you have to get the VIP tickets. They throw in lots of cool extras with the VIP tickets too, they take your picture, and have tons of awesome food they bring around. And unlimited booze/drinks, so its pretty sweet. Ontop of that you get washrooms that aren't nasty, and reserved seats so its not a hassle to find your seat/keep your seat.

I went, first time going to a proper circus and to be honest I was pretty amazed. I was just sitting there half the time with my jaw dropped, it was pretty sweet:thumbsup:

That's the one Cirque Du Soleil show that continuously gets negative reviews but like I always say you never know until you watch it yourself.

Kooza was a decent show but nothing new here. Recycled acts from other Cirque Shows. If you have seen a bunch of the other ones before then you will probably still enjoy it but it wouldn't really be anything new. If you're new to Cirque then this is a really good starter show to check out.

The theme of Kooza is Celebration. So there was less performance acts and more Fun-filled stuff. The Performances were all top notch stuff. It was definitely a fun evening.

I saw it first hand when I was in Vegas 8 months ago and it was crap. Good thing the tickets came free with the hotel package or else it would've been a total ripoff.

KOOZA sucked ass in Macau,

i heard many good things about "O" from friends, and i was really looking forward to cirque du soleil

but KOOZA was a huge disappointment. boring as hell

Phew, good thing I didn't waste my money. Chris Angel is one of the only Vegas shows I haven't watched so debated it for a bit until reading negative after negative review. Next up maybe Beatles then.

I like Kooza better than Corteo.
Corteo was in funeral theme eventhou it was a happy childhood review.

"O" still the best

Out of all the Vanocuver shows I've been too I ranked them the following.

1. Varekai (Not the most mind blowing but non stop action and very fun)
2. Kooza (Although recycled acts still a fairly solid show)
3. Corteo (Was kind of boring and didn't really offer too much at all)

Overall ranking of shows I've watched though

1. O
2. Varekai
3. Mystere
4. KA
5. Kooza
6. Corteo

Tinseltown also has a parking lot. The tolls seem to be closed at night time so you can just get in with a ticket but get out without actually having to feed it back.

Parked at the lot beside mcdonalds when I went. It was $6 I think but it's a 10min walk from the place.
