I don't know what the point of this company is but I think it's if you don't make monthly payments on your car or anything they seize it from you... anyways this is listed on the site. Gallardo SE.
The guy drove it almost everyday for the last few years.. don't know what's up.

Could've sworn I saw this thing ripping down Lougheed yesterday. Looked pretty dirty, a possible indication that it is daily driven and so it might be the same one?

Maintenance costs, high mileage means more likely of failures, clutch replacement, etc...plus high mileage exotics have awful resale value. You might as well take the $100,000 or whatever this car is worth and flush it down the toilet.

If its at a good price (under $100k) I dont think it's that bad of a deal. I mean it's probably going to function better then a lambo with 10k on it that sits in the garage for 6 months that will probably have many future mechanical problems.

Resale costs aside, my friend is the brand manager for Lambo in HKG and I met up with him for dinner last month. He and another sales guy were saying that after VW took over, Lambo quality has gone up so much that the dealerships are struggling to make income from repair work and other such aftersales streams. I don't know what the actual stats are but coming from them it seems pretty reputable.

not trying to discredit what you're saying so what's making these exotics so unreliable after 50k?

and I assume most exotics owner could care less about resale value...okay maybe if they bought it 2nd hand originally.

a gallardo with more than 25k km on it is likely to catch fire.

The mileage doesn't lend to reliability issues but its due for maintenance mainly clutch and brakes both of which are very pricey on a lambo.

Well the cost of replacement parts is sky high and like already mentioned the clutch and brakes are very expensive to replace. The clutch especially because I've read that the Gallardo clutch is around over $5000(US) to replace and I can't imagine what the hourly service rates are.

And forget high milage exotics, most people won't touch older BMW's or Mercedes because their worried about parts and service costs.

If the car has a new clutch, software upgrades (if it's egear), up to date service records it could be a decent deal but still, even at $80,000 it's a bit risky and trust me you'll care if the clutch goes or god forbid something else major goes wrong.

Actually you are quite right on the procedures. Basically if you have no money to pay for your car, or if you owe people money they can hire a bailiff company which they will order and seize your stuff until your debt is paid off.
