Just curious as to who here is in the Vancouver Dodgeball League (http://www.vdldodgeball.ca/) (VDL).

I play Mondays and Thursdays...can't wait. ;)

^ Your whole team shares the bill. You can join someone's team. They have a team for players who want to join but don't have a team set up.

Wow, I didn't know dodgeball could be so expensive, $450 to 500

You split it between teammates. You can range from 6 players to 12. So it's cheap overall considering the season is almost 12 weeks! 1 week exhibition, 10 weeks of regular play & 1 week of playoffs.

Now compare that to DB where you can easily pay 150+ for a season, per person!

If you don't mind, you can sign up as a single and our league will try to place you all onto separate teams or group you together as a singles team.

Hurry though, we are almost sold out, register by Feb 15th!

No idea when the captains meeting is, date hasn't been chosen yet. I'm guessing a week before the season starts March 1st?

Don't mean to bring this thread back from the dead but on the last weekend of July, VDL/IDA is going to host a dodgeball tournament with all proceeds going towards juvenile diabetes research.

It will be held on July 28-29 at the Richmond Oval. Early bird registration is ending soon but I have a discount code that I'm not going to use.
